
Miklós is a quantitative researcher with over 20 years of experience in modeling, interpreting and communicating uncertainty and risk in various domains from weather to finance. Today his main focus is the practical use of generative AI in a research environment. As an Executive Director at MSCI, he led the Budapest Securitized Products Research team, modeling the risk characteristics of mortgage-backed securities. Previously he was responsible for research and development at the Hungarian Meteorological Service, heading the Numerical Modeling and Climate Dynamics Division. He holds an MSc in physics from Budapest University of Technology and Economics. Over the years, he held several lectures at ELTE, BUTE and Corvinus universities about financial modeling and risk, connecting theory and practical applications.
