Zsolt Pándi is Managing Director of DAA Labs, a data science startup founded in Hungary. Before joining DAA Labs he had worked for Morgan Stanley for 16 years in various positions. He was Head of Risk Analytics at Morgan Stanley Budapest for 3 years, where he was responsible for teams working on portfolio risk and capital models and econometric projection models. Zsolt also worked in the Fixed Income Division (FID) at Morgan Stanley Budapest for 13 years. During that time he worked on credit, interest rate and FX derivative pricing models as well as on bond and yield curve analytics libraries.

Zsolt has an M.Sc. in Computer Science and a Ph.D. in Technical Sciences, both from Budapest University of Technology and Economics. He spent a year at University of Texas at Dallas as a Fulbright visiting researcher in the academic year 2003-2004. While Zsolt is also a qualified translator and interpreter (English and Hungarian), he believes that deep inside he remained an engineer throughout.
